Big Bear Camping June 2007

Summer has come to California...oh wait...it's always summer in California.  So, the unbearable heat has approached CA and therefore Roger and Eileen must escape to the mountains or the sea.  This trip, they headed up to Big Bear in their local mountains for a small weekend camping trip.  Spending a few nights in Fawnskin, which is on the north side of the lake, the had a relaxing weekend of sitting around the campfire with Dad working on little projects and mom enjoying some outdoor reading.  Here are a few pics from their trip...

A look....corn again!!

The campsite north of Big Bear.

Steak and corn.  It just might be the only thing that my dad knows how to make.  Either way, it's powerful good!!!  Especially with a bit of Mrs. Dash, salt, pepper, teriyaki sauce and Worcestershire sauce....ahh man, I'm hungry now!

Looks good, but I think that's way too much steak for one person and he should share with his daughter more often.

Yeah right.....like either Rog or Eileen could catch this big of a fish.  Where did you buy it?  COSTCO?!

A relaxing evening around the campfire.                                                    Desert anyone?!
